Wow, it seems like it's been forever since I posted a message on my blog but it's only been a couple of months... yeah, that's still to long but alas, I felt the need to post today. I'm sitting here as I have on and off ever since this pandemic hit and the "Shelter-in-place" order was issued throughout the country... even the world, I'm finding myself just going about my day, doing my "real" job (thank God, I have a job and work from home), looking at my keyboards, guitars and microphones - thinking, I could use this time to write, record - come up with something to sink my teeth into but the harsh truth is, I'm not inspired. Yep, I don't know if it's this whole having to be cooped up in the house thing but it's just not happening.
So today or this weekend I've made a promise to myself that I will play my guitar, I will play my keyboards, I will read the lyrics of each song my brother has sent to me and I will be inspired. I feel like I've wasted so much time during this and I'm not getting any younger! Carpe Diem!
